Snowshoeing is a lot like hiking but allows you to go to places you could not walk on without these big "shoes" under your feet – they keep you afloat and make sure you don’t find yourself under the snow but always stay on top of it!

We can take you out exploring the mountains of the bigger Whitehorse area on a half or a full day hike. There are numerous trails we can go on that will give you a good impression of the natural grandeur of the Territory. Less than 20 minutes by car and we have left civilization behind. Snowshoeing is a silent and contemplative activity, though it can be a good workout on the steeper slopes! It is perfect for wildlife sightings and for identifying tracks in the snow.

All half day tours include snowshoes and boots, if needed, as well as snacks and hot drinks. On a full day tour, we will serve a hearty Northern Lunch as well. Departure time is usually 9:00 a.m. Complimentary hotel pick up and drop off or meet us at our store in downtown Whitehorse.

A minimum of two participants is required for these tours. Let us know when you would like to go and we will take you there! A 24 hour notice is required to arrange the necessary logistics.

Half day tour: $145.00 (minimum 2 people)
Full day tour: $255.00 (minimum 2 people)
